<p>The main challenge of the current digital transition is to utilize computing media and cutting-edge technologyin a more meaningful way, which would make the archaeological and anthropological research outcomes relevant to a heterogeneous audience. Subsequently, there is an undeniable need for the digitalization of cultural assets and the transformation of the stories of ancient civilizations into an accessible digital form. As a result, Serious Games theory can be combined with novel technologies to present Cultural Heritage to a wide audience. This contribution proposes a methodology that focuses on transforming the traditional exhibit-centric archaeo-anthropological findings into story-centric immersive and interactive narrations through gamification while exploiting Serious Games techniques in augmented and virtual experiences.</p>
