Archaeologist at Universidad de Chile (2006), Doctor in Prehistory, Ethnology, and Anthropology at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. Associate professor at Universidad de Tarapacá between 2006 and 2019, since 2010 Associate Professor at Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile. Work for almost 20 years in the Atacama desert from northern Chile. Specialist in rock art studies and pigment analysis. Interested in human and social practices relate to the exploitation, production, and consumption of pigment and colors in the past.
