Areas of expertise
I graduated archaeology in 1999 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb. Between 2001 and 2004 I worked as a curator in the Department of Archaeology of the Vinkovci Municipal Museum. Since 2005 I am employed at the Department of Archaeology of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, first as a research assistant and currently as an assistant professor. My PhD thesis was Late Vučedol Culture in the Bosut Plain on the Basis of Pottery Finds (2012). Currently, I am the Head of the Chair for Archaeometry and Methodology. In the university programme of the Department of Archaeology, I teach courses related to methodology and documentation of archaeological excavations and methodology of processing prehistoric pottery. I have published 38 papers in Academic Journals, 8 chapters in books, one authored book titled Ceramics in archaeology – Pottery of the Vučedol Culture in the Vinkovci region (2016), and one book in collaboration Tilurium IV. Archaeological excavation from 2007-2010. (2017). I edited four books and I am an editor in chief of the Proceedings from the scientific conference Methodology and Archaeometry (three published volumes). I am a member of the editorial board of the journal Arhaika (Belgrade, Serbia) and was in the editorial board of the journal Opuscula Archaeologica (Zagreb, Croatia) from 2012-2019.
